Anonymous to shut down facebook on 28 Jan


Famous hacker group, Anonymous has announced to attack on facebook in a video posted on YouTube. In this video Group is requesting people to take part in this attack by downloading LOIC. The group had attacked the U.S. Department of Justice’s website after shutdown of file-sharing site Megaupload Friday.
“An online war has begun between Anonymous, the people and the government of the United States,” the video begins. “While SOPA and PIPA may be postponed from Congress, this doesn’t guarantee that our Internet rights will be upheld.”
“While it is true that facebook has at least 60,000 servers, it is still possible to bring it down,” says the Anonymous voice. “Anonymous needs the help of the people.” The tool must be used at the same time in order to be affective on this many servers, according to the member, who has set the time of 12am (we’re assuming UTC) on January 28 for the attack.

Facebook Timeline Coming To All Users Over The Next Few Weeks


Facebook has announced that it will be rolling out its new Timeline feature to all of its 800 million users around the world, and all Facebook users will be migrated to Timeline over the next few weeks.
Facebook users will be notified seven days before their profile is changed to the new Timeline, which should give users enough time to setup the Timeline the way they want.

Last year we introduced timeline, a new kind of profile that lets you highlight the photos, posts and life events that help you tell your story. Over the next few weeks, everyone will get timeline. When you get timeline, you’ll have 7 days to preview what’s there now. This gives you a chance to add or hide whatever you want before anyone else see’s it.

Nokia Lumia 910 With 12 Megapixel Camera Coming To Europe In May?


Earlier today we heard that the Nokia Lumia 900 would be available in the UK in June, the news came after the device appeared on a retailers website, the page has since been pulled.
Now according to Eldar Murtzain, the device will be the Nokia Lumia 910, which is the European version of the 900, and it will come without 4G LTE and will feature a higher specification camera than the Lumia 900.

The Nokia Lumia 910 is reported to feature a 12 megapixel camera, and the device will share similar specifications with the Lumia 900 which will include a 4.3 inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, Windows Phone 7.5 Mango and a single core 1.4GHz processor.
We previously heard that another version of the Lumia 900 with a 12 megapixel camera would also be headed to the other US carriers after the exclusivity with US mobile carrier AT&T runs out.

Apple was always against the jailbreaking and unlocking. Jailbreaking allows iOS device users to enjoy the freedom from the restrictions applied by Apple. United States government has declared jailbreaking and unlocking legal on 26th July, 2010. It was an unforgettable day for the jailbreaking community. From that day, jailbreak lovers have been jailbreaking their devices to enjoy the freedom. The only restriction to this law was that jailbreaking should not break the copyright laws of Apple. Jailbreaking exemption to the DMCA will be expired in this year, so the jailbreaking may become illegal again this year. In order to renew this exemption, Electronic Frontier Foundation has filed a request with the Copyright Office in the last month. Now Electronic Frontier Foundation is asking jailbreak lovers to submit their electronic voice petition against the law in order to keep the jailbreaking legal.

According to Electronic Frontier Foundation, Copyright Office requires to hear from the users those are depending on the ability to jailbreak to use, write and play with independent software for game consoles, smartphones, and tablets. U.S. Copyright Office is being asked by Electronic Frontier Foundation to declare that jailbreaking does not violate the DMCA. Charlie Miller, iOS developer and member of Electronic Frontier Foundation has been asking jailbreak lovers to send their comments to the Copyright Office via EFF website in order to keep the jailbreaking legal.
