Amazon Instant Streaming Video Service Partners With 20th Century Fox


Amazon has today announced a new partnership with 20th Century Fox that will allow Amazon Prime loyalty members to stream a wide selection of Fox’s catalog of movies and TV shows for free.
The new service is expected to start in the Autumn and include TV shows like  “24,” “The X-Files,” “NYPD Blue,” “Arrested Development,” “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Ally McBeal,” and newly available “The Wonder Years.”

Movies will include: Speed, Mrs. Doubtfire, Doctor Dolittle, Last of the Mohicans, and Office Space, as well as classics like The Longest Day, All About Eve, 9 to 5, and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
Amazon explained in todays statement:
“Since the launch of Prime instant videos in February, we have more than doubled the library to 11,000 titles and will continue to add more of our customers’ favorite movies and TV shows to Prime instantvideos,”

Spotify Now Requires New Users To Have A Facebook Account (video)


After finally launching back in the US a few months ago Spotify has now made its service available through Facebook allowing you to link your Facebook and Spotify accounts making it even easy to share the music you have listened to with your friends.
However as from today any new Spotify users looking to signup, must now have a Facebook login or a Spotify account signup is not possible.

When questioned about the new policy on the Spotify forums by users that didn’t have or want Facebookaccount. Spotify’s answer was straight to the point, no Facebook account no signup. From now on all new accounts require Facebook, if you don’t have a Facebook account you need to create one or do without both services.
