Just after two days of the aonnuncement of Facebook's partership with five security giants, a new scam arrived on the Facebook. This new Facebook scam is offering users free pairs of Ray-Bans or TOMS shoes. This is nothing but another survey scam in which scammer is tricking users to complete an online survey. Each completesurvey will earn some bucks for the scammer.


These messages can be seen on various Facebook profiles. Message offering Ray-Ban reads,

To Celebrate the Summer, We are Giving Away Free Ray-Bans to All Facebook Users!

Get a Free Pair of Toms Shoes! (Limited Time Only)!
Current Limited offer
To Celebrate the Summer, Toms is currently giving away FREE pairs of shows to select facebook users for a limited time!

If any user click on the link, it asks users to share the link with all the friends on Facebook. People who want these sunglasses and shoes share the link and help the scam to spread on Facebook.


Then it asks users to enter some personal information and take part in an onlinesurvey. Thus the scammer will earn good comission when a user complete the survey.
In some cases they might even ask you to enter your mobile phone number, and then sign you up for an expensive premium rate service.


So beware and avoid this kind of offers which takes you to a survey. You will never get anything which is being offered.


If you have been already fooled by this scam, i will advice you to delete any such post from your wall and from your friend's wall shared by you. Report this link as spam and help Facebook to stop this scam.
