It’s not actually A’ME but the A’ME Clamp On MTB Heated Tri Grips. As mentioned in the title, they’re heated. Heated grips aren’t that big an innovation, having been a round in many different vehicles. These A’ME’s on the other hand, are specifically for mountain bikes.

What the A’ME does, and does very well, is remove the need for gloves when mountain biking in frigid weather. Capable of six different temperature levels and available in six different colors, the A’ME is a revolution in bicycle handlebars. A small revolution perhaps, but a revolution nonetheless.

If you’re wondering how the temperature settings work, there’s a small dot of LED light on the edge of the handle indicating the different levels. A rechargeable lithium ion battery is responsible for juicing these mini-gadgets.

The grips are currently selling for $80 but an entire set can be had at the official site in a $199 bundle.

Whoever said Razr is the new Alienware wasn’t far off. Alright, it was us after going through the spec list for this thing. In fact, we might be a bit off, because this ting doesn’t really look like Alienware’s usual fare, i. e. some sort of Goth Cylon. It even looks a bit… grown up if you ignore the radioactive green branding.

At this point, we’ll just unceremoniously drop the spec list on you:

And that’s not even mentioning the multitouch pad/in-game info LCD and the programmable keys. Razr calls it “the Switchblade User Interface” and says it’s “a revolutionary innovation that truly defines the new standard for gaming experiences on a laptop.” And it can be all yours for only $2799, several months of patience and a willingness to import if you’re outside the US.

PS3 owners can at least be thankful that the whole game isn’t a timed 360 exclusive for more than a year, like the last Elder Scrolls game. Not to mention a month is barely even enough to scratch the surface of content in an Elder Scrolls game. Or would be in the classic entries in the series. These days it’s hard to be sure.

We could have sworn Dragon Age 2 was going to be packed with sidequesty goodness and look how that turned out. RPGs ain’t what they used to be, is what we’re saying. Which isn’t to say Skyrim can’t be a bucker of trends, it’s just that its horns aren’t really apparent at this stage.
