Facebook for iPad is finally available

After a conspicuous (and lengthy) absence from the App Store, Facebook has just launched their official iPad app.
Not a lot has changed since earlier this summer, when the iOS jailbreak community found the iPad version hidden within the Facebook for iPhone app, but I don’t see that as a bad thing. In this official version, you have your standard iPad app interface, complete with split-screen views. The side bar (control panel) can be easily accessed with a tap of an icon or a simple swipe across the screen. News feed, photos, profile, messages, events, messages… all of these are here. Even groups are supported. Account info and privacy settings can also be viewed and changed from within the app.
One nice addition is that it looks like it stores logins for multiple users. On signing out, you’re presented with a big picture of your face. This isn’t for vanity, though, as tapping that pic will prompt you to enter your password for a quick login. As not many iPad apps are designed for multiple users, this is a welcome addition.
With the Facebook iPhone app having been available for over two years, the iPad version is finally arriving over 18 months after the launch of the first iPad. The app’s head-scratching MIA status was speculated to have been due to a rift between Apple and Facebook. There was even a false start (rumored launch that never happened) in June. It may be that nobody unbound by an NDA knows the real reasons, but it is curious as to how such a major app can be missing from such a huge device for so long.
During the wait, many third parties capitalized on Mark Zuckerberg and Company’s lapse, selling their Facebook apps (of varying quality). Friendly Plus for Facebook was one of the most popular ones, and, for many, it took on the status of an unofficial Facebook for iPad app.

Steve Jobs was adopted. His biological father was from Syria.

This means that the late Apple CEO was half-Arab. His father, Abdulfattah “John” Jandali, moved to the United States in the 1950s to go to college. There, he met and started dating Joanne Carole Sciebele, Jobs’ mother. Schiebele’s father didn’t approve of Jandali, so the couple put their baby boy, Steve Jobs, up for adoption. The young couple agreed to give their son the Jobs family under the condition that they promise to give him a university education.

How to Stay Anonymous on the Internet Using Tor ?

Why you should hide yourself?
Internet is risky place to surf, here your privacy is not secure as you think.  Others can track what you are searching or what is your interest(Based on that , scammers can scam you).  Some websites store your real IP. An attacker can get the IP from the website by attacking that website.  Using your IP , he can take control of your System(using Open Port).  Two weeks back, we explained about the Facebook Privacy Ris.  If you want to secure your privacy, this article will help you.

What is Tor and Usage?
Tor is a network of virtual tunnels that allows people and groups to improve their privacy and security on the Internet. It also enables software developers to create new communication tools with built-in privacy features. Tor provides the foundation for a range of applications that allow organizations and individuals to share information over public networks without compromising their privacy.

For Individual: They use Tor to keep websites from tracking them and their family members, or to connect to news sites, instant messaging services, or the like when these are blocked by their local Internet providers. Tor's hidden services let users publish web sites and other services without needing to reveal the location of the site. Individuals also use Tor for socially sensitive communication: chat rooms and web forums for rape and abuse survivors, or people with illnesses.

For Journalists: They use Tor to communicate more safely with whistleblowers and dissidents. Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) use Tor to allow their workers to connect to their home website while they're in a foreign country, without notifying everybody nearby that they're working with that organization.

For Groups such as Indymedia recommend Tor for safeguarding their members' online privacy and security. Activist groups like the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) recommend Tor as a mechanism for maintaining civil liberties online. Corporations use Tor as a safe way to conduct competitive analysis, and to protect sensitive procurement patterns from eavesdroppers. They also use it to replace traditional VPNs, which reveal the exact amount and timing of communication. Which locations have employees working late? Which locations have employees consulting job-hunting websites? Which research divisions are communicating with the company's patent lawyers?

A branch of the U.S. Navy uses Tor for open source intelligence gathering, and one of its teams used Tor while deployed in the Middle East recently. Law enforcement uses Tor for visiting or surveilling web sites without leaving government IP addresses in their web logs, and for security during sting operations.
